عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُوْدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّمَ قَالَ اِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِيْ اِلَى الْبِرِّ وَ اِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِيْ اِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَ اِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَصْدُقُ حَتّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللهِ صِدِّيْقًا
Verily truthfulness leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah. And a person (continuously) speaks the truth until he is written as a Siddeeq (truthful person) by Allah Ta'ala.
