SPECIAL NEEDS LEARNERS
The LMA is running extra classes for children with special needs. No fee is charged because these learners get a grant for their personal use. We have two teachers running this project. A qualified therapist comes through when required. Empowerment activities such baking, arts and crafts as well as social development are carried out at the centre. The cost factor is the teacher’s salaries, special equipment, stationery, books and puzzles. The centre had to made user friendly for these learners in order to accommodate their needs.
These learners are loving and caring, this is the least we can do for our children from heaven!!!
We have currently 13 special needs learners, that attend Madressah from Monday to Thursday. They are taught the basics in Islamiat, as well as social behaviour, cleanliness and Akhlaaq.

Project One
Packing of sweets, nuts biltong, dried fruit, china fruit and ornaments.
Project Two
Packing of dish cloths for Pick and Pay. Theses two projects require Additional space for the Packing process as well as storage. Currently we have one classroom and that can is being used for Madressah. It is not suitable for the purpose of the two projects. These projects will Enable our learner sto earn extra income as well as giving them a purpose in life and Keeping them occupied in the mornings.
