Fiqhul Islam (Deeniyaat) Book Five

This book begins with Fasting, followed by Zakaat (Charity) and finally, Haj (Pilgrimage), thus completing the four pillars of Islam that every Muslim child should be equipped with. In accordance with the basic educational precept that text books are graded according to the child’s mental capacity, the lessons in Fiqhul Islam Book Five have been prepared to accommodate the child’s level of understanding and knowledge. Fasting has been placed first, since a Muslim child in Class Five, having reached the age of maturity, should be fasting during Ramadhaan every year. Charity is taught thereafter, since every Muslim, as soon as he or she begins to accumulate wealth, has to calculate and pay Zakaah on his or her own personal wealth if it reaches the amount of Nisaab. Hajj is discussed last not because it is least important but because it is not an annual occurrence. It should be the desire of every Muslim to undertake the sacred journey to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam.This particular book has been revised whereby the subject matter has been re-written on the basis of easy and understandable use of language with extensive recap exercises in the form of worksheets. These would prove very useful in the students years of learning.
